a deadness to all things will awaken in you,a joy will burn in your soul the like of which there is nothing in creation,and your thoughts will be confined within you by reason of the sweetness in your heart.
But when the world is about to rise up in you again,your mind's
distraction and the pettiness and instability of your thinking will
increase.By the world i mean the passions that are engendered
by distractions.When they are born and come to maturity,they
become sins and kill a man.As children are not born without a
mother,so passions are not born without distraction of the mind,
and sin is not committed without converse with passions.
